She told that her sister-in-law had torn the notes into pieces 5 years ago, when she was suffering from mental illness. Recently she died and now her brother and his children need it. The woman told that her brother has taken it to many banks but no one is helping her.
The staff spent 22 days adding notes
Contrary to the woman’s expectations, the bank immediately took the pieces of notes and started joining them. It was a difficult task for them to join a total of 1 lakh pieces of notes because they were cut into pieces smaller than a nail. It took 22 days for the bank staff to join these pieces, only then they were able to return notes worth 3 lakh 70 thousand rupees to the woman. This story went viral on social media and people are praising the bank.
